On Sunday 3rd of March, the South Wales Gaming Centre hosted part of the Cardiff Science festival 2019.  The theme of this event was the science behind board games.   With several members of Cardiff University demoing various games and talking about the scientific principles behind those games.   

Asmodee were kind enough to help us support the event by sending us the Pandemic Survival Kit to run as part of this.  The event was a success with many of the players never having played pandemic before still had a good time.

A high level of engagement for Cardiff science fair, with several families staying for the entire event, and most spending around 2 hours engaging with the various stands and demo games throughout the day.

Thank you to the various volunteers and speakers who helped ensure that the event ran smoothly, and also to Asmodee for their support in sending us the Pandemic survival kit.
