Join us for Danger Close 4, the next in Bottom of the Barrel Battle Reports' Dropzone Commander event series! Full event pack here

You'll be fighting through three rounds of bespoke narrative missions on beautiful scenic boards in what promises to be even bigger and better than our previous events. For this one we're putting the points up to 1,850, so Commanders can get to shake up their lists, bring some different units and  squeeze in some of those light behemoths (and who knows, maybe even some heavies)!

Players new to and seasoned with Dropzone are more than welcome - if you're new and have any concerns, feel free to email us at bottomofthebarrelbatreps@gmail.com.

We will be playing with version 2.2.0 of the core rulebook, unless a newer version of the rulebook is released at latest by 1 March. We will post an update if this is the case.

We will also be playing with Version 2.5.0 of the FAQ and experimental rules pack, again unless there is a more up-to-date FAQ by 1 March. Please make sure to read the experimental rules (in the FAQ document) as they significantly change how a number of game mechanics work.

We also will be using an unofficial FAQ to cover some common queries that the official FAQ does not. This is largely based off of games in our local community at the Bristol Gaming Collective, and is linked above. It’s a live document so may be updated between now and the event - the final version will be locked in on 1 March.

Refunds will be subject to a £2.50 administration fee. Any request for a refund one week or less before the event will only be possible if there is a reserve list of players who can take up any refunded ticket.

Your choice of hot lunch will be provided by our on site Cafe facility.

Vouchers for lunch will be issued during registration.

For larger events our on site Cafe facility will be selling sausage and bacon rolls until 10.30 am.

We ask that you don’t bring your own food or drink into The South Wales Gaming Centre.
